"Education, networking, problem solving, business development. The list can go on and on. Your regional association and your national association are invaluable resources for developing not only the trade of dry cleaning, but also the skills necessary to run a successful business. Dry cleaners are dominated by locally owned and operated businesses. We depend on the leadership of our associations to be on the forefront of training, technology advances and regulations. Join, and be part of the network. Bring skills and ideas back to your business that will help you succeed. Share your ideas with your association and it will help develop our entire industry to better serve our customers.

It is an honor to serve as the President of MWDLA. Association memberships, costs groups and networking are key components for the success of our fourth generation family business. One idea can be a game changer that affects your business for years and sometimes decades. We look forward to this opportunity to give back to our colleagues. Please support the MWDLA with your membership and ideas."

"It is both a personal and professional privilege to share with my constituents the benefits of belonging to MWDLA.  Because I am on the Board of Directors, I have first-hand experience of the proficient use of the associations’ industry contacts.  From conception to implementation of strategies, the combined years of members’ service knowledge provide the ability to assist other cleaners with a variety of endeavors anywhere from industry training events to social activities such as the MWDLA Annual Convention held at the French Lick Resort.

While we all should know the benefits of belonging to an association—it is far too easy to not make the effort and the commitment to our industry—this is simply a missed opportunity.   Your business can be positively impacted as a result of receiving your first newsletter upon joining!  Membership is a “best practice” policy I have for our business.

Today I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for this associations’ leadership and I look forward to future opportunities to work with its many bright members."

"Our Company has been a member of MWDLA and DLI for over ten years. Now, more than ever, membership provides tremendous value through networking, seminars and education. Both Associations also represent our industry at the state and national level, providing a voice for dry cleaners and launderers when it is most needed.

Membership is an essential part of being in the clothing care business."
